- Fashion plays as important a role in the lives of writers Ellen Byerrum
(left) and Rosemary Martin as it does in their mysteries. Byerrum, author
of the Lacey Smithsonian, Crime of Fashion mystery series, chose to wear
a vintage Victor Costa gown (with pockets!) to the Agatha Awards Banquet
Martin, who under the name of Rosemary
Stevens wrote a series of mysteries featuring Beau Brummell, carried
the Sixties vibe of her current novel (It's a Mod Mod Mod Mod Murder)
into her conference wardrobe.
