If you take your Regency romance straight, avoid Daughter of Destiny. However, if you long to step beyond the strictures of the genre and enjoy a dash of paranormal, then by all means grab this book just as soon as it hits the shelves. You won't be disappointed. The paranormal aspect adds sizzle, spice, and suspense to a novel penned by an author rapidly gaining recognition as a master in the romance field.

Book: Tracy Forbes, Daughter of DestinyBrock, Lord Darleigh, married young Georgiana for her money -- and she discovered that unsavory fact right after the marriage. In fact, her husband loves her, but Georgiana considers their union loveless and joyless. Desperate for Brock's attention, she embarks on many diverse and unseemly escapades, and Regency England offers plenty of scope for both.

Ultimately, Georgiana visits a ball for men and their mistresses, catapulting Brock and herself into a future neither imagined. Wearing a red Druid stone, Georgiana projects an illusion that could well lead to her death.

Book: Tracy Fobes, Forbidden GardenSecrets lie within secrets. Georgiana's true parentage makes her the Guardian of the Becoming of the Order of the Glamorgan Druids of Wales. It also gives her father, the Duke of Gloucester, every reason to kill her. Brock must learn the truth about Georgiana's birth to help his wife fulfill her destiny, ensure England's security -- and prevent another man from fathering Georgiana's child.

Can Brock and Georgiana prevent the Duke of Gloucester from usurping the throne? Or will the duke kill his daughter to make himself king? The answers to these questions provide exciting, interesting, and extraordinary reading, great characters, a fresh plot, and a scene well set.
