A thriller that gives new meaning to the word, The Shadow Hunter expands the parameters and adds a new dimension to the genre.

Book: Michael Prescott, The Shadow HunterYou've heard the adage, It takes a thief to catch a thief? Well, after reading this book you'll know it might possibly take a stalker to catch a stalker, but you'll reach the unpredictable climax before you will know just who is stalking whom -- and why.

Abby Sinclair hunts from the shadows, infiltrates the lives of stalkers, brings to light their darkest desires, and stops them before they can do their victim harm. Abby failed to complete her mission only once. Her one failure -- when her client fell to a rain of bullets from his stalker -- haunts Abby and makes her even more determined to save the latest object of a stalker's twisted desires.

In this case, the stalker's target, a beautiful television news anchor, seeks help from Abby's employer. The stalker, Raymond Hickle, knows every move his frightened victim makes and wants to ensure that if he can't possess her, no one else can. He will kill her before he allows her to belong to another.

Book: Michael Prescott, Stealing FacesA new neighbor moves in next door to Raymond, a neighbor named Abby. Abby moves in for the kill, but another hunter lurks in the shadows -- deadly hunter who sees Abby as prey and wants her dead.

The fast-paced plot twists and turns like an out of control roller coaster, making the read irresistible, un-put-downable, and absolutely not a book you want to start late at night -- not if you have to work the next morning. Abby makes a great protagonist. Far from a superwoman, she certainly gained my admiration and inspired the hope that I will get to meet her again in another book.
